With just a few sheets of transparency paper you can mod your MacBook's Apple logo to glow green, red, blue, or any other color that tickles your fancy. This quirky mod is one of the few that doesn't require an engineering degree. Simply insert a few sheets of your favorite color inside the casing of your MacBook's screen and your new shining logo will bring you fame and love. Okay, maybe not.. but it's definitely neat, won't you agree?
Red Apple Logo Mod:

The mod is surprisingly simple. It involves nothing more than a few sheets of your-preferred-color transparency paper inserted inside the screen casing of your MacBook. Here's a few words by one of the modders:
I took my screen apart without the little grey clips off. I used a very blunt knife to slide gently along the bezel then when it stopped on a clip just a little gentle twist and up it popped. the screws weren't a problem either. I used a sharp knife to initially start them turning then used a screw driver to remove. The ones I found annoying were the little blighter's near the magnets when putting them back in.
I found that I needed extra layers of the coloured plastic film that I used to get the red not looking too pink. But my green leaf was just fine with 1 layer.
