i agree, hold two fingers on the trackpad and then click. That's how it has always been done.

Two-finger clicks do not always work, I suggest that people try it before claiming it does. While this post preceded the release of the new MacBook (and Pro)/Unibody MacBook/"Late 2008 MacBook", I thought I should mention that when running XP (Media Center, if it makes a difference) on a new MacBook Pro (OSX Leopard native) via Bootcamp, three fingers pressing the trackpad (which is also the button) is the only way that I have thus far been able to achieve a right click, and sometimes there's a considerable delay before a submenu appears. Note that if you change to 'Tap to click' in Boot Camp Control Panel, it will not affect multiple finger clicking, and therefore you will still have to press and click the touchpad (with three fingers) to achieve a right click.

Adam - you talk sense! Thank you for the 'real answer' - works perfectly with my new MacBook ;-)

Adam has it. Two fingers do not work with XP on new Macbook, but click with three fingers and the menu appears when you release.
